1. Protect bandwidth: Use video as an establishing shot at the beginning of a lecture, then shut it off. Consider using teleconferencing instead of using web audio.
2. Have a moderator assist you: the moderator can assist you with loading files and monitoring chat. He or she can also troubleshoot technical issues for you and your students.
3. Practice, Practice, Practice: Before presenting to a live class, practice your lesson (preferably with participants) and record the session. Review the recorded session and make improvements to transitions and flow.
